November 16, 2018 — The celebration will begin with Mass at a new location, St. Elizabeth of Hungary, the Jesuit parish located at 432 Sheppard Avenue East at 5:00 pm. Following the Mass, there will be a pre-dinner reception at 6:30 pm.
November 15, 2018 — A high-level intellectual, a historian by training and ex-President of Campion College, Father John Meehan, SJ arrived a few months ago in Montreal, where he joined the Jesuit community at the Residence of the Holy Name of Jesus.
November 9, 2018 — On November 20 there will be a major fundraising event on behalf of the Maison Dauphine Foundation. Brother Bertrand Girard died at the infirmary in Richelieu on October 26, 2018, at the age of 97, after 76 years of religious life. He lived and served in Montreal for most of his religious life and was sent later on, to the indigenous people of the St. Regis Mission.

Catholic feminist organizations collected 8,000 names in a petition that calls on the Vatican authorities to allow women religious superiors to work and vote as equals alongside their brothers in Christ at meetings of the 15th Synod of Youth, Faith and vocational discernment. The Dominicans, the Jesuits and the Conventual Franciscans support them.
